Absecon, NJ
It was getting toward the end of this phase of Stars and Lights as the book deadline was fast approaching. I made several long trips to lighthouses far from our home, and one of those was to New Jersey. With grateful help from the East Point lighthouse, who offered a bed for the night, I made the trip to Atlantic City and Absecon Light. It was a beautiful drive for almost 6 hours until the last 15 minutes. Fog rolled in while I was driving the causeway to Atlantic City, but I continued on my quest. I'd gotten permission from the lighthouse foundation to be on the grounds after dark. One of their board members met me at the gate and I shot various angles of the lighthouse and property. I spent about an hour and saw few stars, but the objective is to capture the lights at night, stars are a bonus!
